Junior Mission Statement

Building for the future, through training and developing better people and better golfers in a fun, safe and friendly environment.
With guidance provided from members and professional staff alike, we nurture, support and strive to teach humanity with a long term goal of excellence on and off the golf course.

Program Overview

With the warmer weather always just around the corner, we here at The Briars are more than excited to get the 2026 Briars Junior Program back up and running. The Briars Golf Club Junior Program helps educate our youngsters about the game of golf by teaching basic fundamentals of the golf swing and proper golf etiquette as endorsed by Golf Canada and their Future Links program. We will also coach junior golfers to participate as a team player and cooperate with other golfers on and off the golf course. Our Junior Program is culminated with the playing of our Junior Club Championship in mid-August which is open to both boys and girls. Along with our Summer Junior Program, we also offer private and semi-private lessons for Junior Members looking to develop their game with more in depth sessions.

With the success of last years program we are going to try to build off of that and make the program even better for 2026. If you are wondering about the Junior Program here is a little bit of information regarding it:

Junior Memberships (Ages 10-18) (2026 will be capped at 70 Juniors)

$650+HST per season
As a member, he or she does have the ability to bring guests (IE: parents).
Playing restrictions for Juniors are Weekdays (not including Thursdays) after 2pm and Weekends after 3pm. Tee times can be booked 6 days in advance.
Guests can only play a maximum of 8 games per season.

Included with the Junior membership, is the Junior Program

Every Wednesday, starting, July 8th (Orientation Day, BBQ Lunch followed by Golf)
Ends August 19th with our Junior Club Championship)

Golf Camps

Junior Members also recieve a discounted price for our 3-day camps (half days - 9:00am - 1:00pm). Member's Price is $90 + HST. Non-Members (must be friends of members) are $140 + HST.
